PCS-978S Transformer protection

PCS-978S Transformer Protection provides fast and selective protection, control and monitoring for two-winding transformers, three-winding transformers, autotransformers, and shunt reactors. The complete transformer protection is user-configurable. In addition to the protection functions, the device also provides fault data recording, oscillography and communication functions.

PCS-978S is widely applied not only to conventional substations but also to digital substations. It supports IEC 61850 Editions 1 and 2, and provides GOOSE and SV network interfaces with high real-time performance. The process-level network supports peer-to-peer (P2P) and network mode, including single network mode and dual network mode. The station-level network can also receive and send MMS messages (such as blocking signals) or process-level GOOSE messages (such as trip signals).
